4. Foster Student Well-being, Engagement, and Fulfillment
A. Introduce an outdoor education program to channel the social-emotional benefits of spending time in nature. B. Take a whole-child approach to education by incorporating well-being, health, and social-emotional learning into the PK-12 school program. C. Deliberately balance our use of instructional technology with low-tech and no-tech approaches to teaching, learning, and student life. D. Develop a vision of technology that positions our students as creators rather than consumers and that prioritizes healthy relationships with devices and screen time.

E. Define and communicate our athletic program’s philosophy, and in particular our identity as a program that is both “no-cut” and competitive.
F. Better articulate the relationships among athletics, physical education, health, and free play or recess.
G. Sequence curricula and coaching/teaching practices in athletics, physical education, and the arts to build students’ skills and experiences across the divisions.
H. Cultivate a college admissions culture and program grounded in students’ personal identities and values that encourages thoughtful applications to institutions that are academic, social, and financial fits for each student and family.
I. Offer greater opportunities for student choice and self-direction in academics and extracurriculars in order to foster joy in learning.
